Mary Jane founded MJ Grant & Co in 1982. She wears all the hats — creative catalyst, strategic advisor, writer, teacher, and coach. She also calls on her extensive network of accomplished associates in all areas of design, web and social media services, facilitation, research and more. Early in her career, Mary Jane worked in advertising at Ogilvy & Mather, consulting at Anthony Long & Associates and research/teaching at the Ivey Business School.
Mary Jane graduated from the Ivey Business School, winning the Gold Medal for the highest academic standing. She was Adjunct Professor at Ivey, where she designed and taught courses in creativity and innovation. She was recently Executive in Residence at the Ivey Business School.
Mary Jane is a published author in the fields of creativity, innovation, and travel.
Mary Jane holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from the University of King’s College, as well as certificates in Creative Writing and Freelance Writing from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Her final project was shortlisted for the Marina Nemat Prize.
